As far as players who own The Taken King and decide not to buy Rise of Iron, they will have, just like PS3/360 users, access to all current content and nothing more. Expecting anything more from any company is nothing short of insanity, as they couldn't function and continue to put out content without funding.

That's now 3 years worth of content and DLC, so to be quite frank, price wise, we've been getting a bargain. The only thing your $130 point could be referencing is you being a Day 1 player and buying all of the content as it has been released. Bottom line, indefensible, literal definition.īut again, that's only IF that's how all of this works, and if non RoI owners are never able to get the new If you currently own The Taken King it's $29.99 for Rise of Iron, for anyone else they are selling the Destiny Collection for $59.99 which includes everything up do date including Rise of Iron. If paying more money gets you an advantage over people who didn't pay, then that's a pay to win situation. If either of those situations are true, you're going to have people who paid 30 dollars and are able to access PVP advantages that people who didn't pay extra won't have access to. Perhaps RoI owners can even join old playlists without needing to be in a party with people who don't have RoI. If they can do that as my friends, that means others with RoI can do that as their friends. If I'm playing with a friend who has the expansion, and they are allowed to join me in the pre-RoI playlists, then they're going to have PVP artifacts that give them an advantage.

"Destiny just literally became a pay to win game." Nice to see we are all being reasonable here ) As for me, the amount of time I have put in and the friends I have made, make this game the best value for a video game ever.

Destiny will still be here when you decide it is worth the money again. "The expansion isn't worth it to me for PVP alone, and the release of several quality PVP games is right around the corner." By all means play the other games.
